Services Offered by the Library: The purpose of the Library is to collect papers written by amateur medievalists and to make them available at cost to anyone who might wish copies. These papers include essays, book reviews, indexes of material of interest appearing in magazines both professional and amateur, original music, songs, stories and poems, etc. Any paper included in the Library may be ordered for the cost of copying and mailing it: namely, 5 cents per page for copying it, plus 6½ tax on that (which is the sales tax at the copy place), plus postage (generally, every 5 pages is another ounce). Any amount sent in excess is credited to the sender against future orders, or returned (if the sender so indicates). A short list of these papers, giving for each its catalogue number (LL number), title, author, and number of pages, is available for 37 cents. The Library also sends lists, upon request, of everything presently in its data base on a given subject. Each such listing costs 25 cents. A list of subject headings so available may be ordered for 20 cents.
Any person wishing to join the work of the Library as clerk, reviewer, indexer, researcher, computer aide or other assistant is urged to inquire of the Lion Librarian what these posts require. Thank you.
