Êstâz' Bargain |
Morgańa goes to Heki to seek the aid of the Verē Êstâz, who has kept the ancestral humans to their word that Heki belongs to the Verē. As long as they keep their word, he must stay and keep the Verē to theirs. But her need is urgent. How can she break the bargain that keeps Êstâz on Heki? And how can she get him to help her after she's betrayed his people into slavery?
