• I've added a link to Lightspeed Press.  Check it out!
• Scriptus est!  I finished writing The Last-Minute Queen!  The final version is 25 chapters, so I changed the navigation buttons at the bottom of the 13 chapters that were already uploaded, and the contents page.  The rest of the novel will be uploaded as fast as I can type it.

• The song "All Of Our Days" got misplaced when I combined the Songs and Poems section into one.  It's restored now.
• The Modesty Blaise section has been brought up to date to include recent issues of Comics Revue and the new series of reprint books from Titan Books.

• I'm currently writing chapter 21 of The Last-Minute Queen, so it shouldn't be too long before the whole novel is typed and uploaded to my web site.

• Chapters 7 through 9 of The Last-Minute Queen are now online, and I've changed the Contents page and the initial letters of the first 6 chapters.  To read them, click on the book's title on the "Stories and Novels" page, or click on the title right here in this announcement.  I've currently written through the end of Chapter 18, and it looks like there are going to be about 24 chapters.

• The first six chapters of The Last-Minute Queen are now online!  You can read them by clicking on the title on the "Stories and Novels" page, or by clicking on the title right here in this announcement.  I've currently written through the end of Chapter 15, but there's a lot to do to publish the chapters, even after I've written them.  Watch this space for more chapters, and let me know what you think!

• All the poems are now using Cascading Style Sheets so that they'll look the same on all browsers (within the limitations of the godawful inconsistencies between all the different browsers).  I've also changed the layout of the main page a bit, and changed the e-mail address.

• I've broken the single page up into separate pages for each kind of writing, and done away with the two-column format I was using.  This should make the page(s) load faster, and make them less confusing to my readers.  Let me know what you think.

• I'm switching to Linux on my own computer, and I've discovered that some things that work just fine in Internet Explorer don't work right, or just sit there and do nothing, in other browsers.  I also found some outright mistakes on my part that IE lets me get away with, such as using a backslash instead of a slash in links!  So I'm fixing these as I go through converting things fully to Cascading Style Sheets.  I'm also replacing HR tags (non-IE browsers won't let me set the color of them, or remove the shading) and em dashes (some fonts display an ordinary short dash).  Things that have been fully converted will have thick white left and top borders until everything's been fixed (then they'll go away).
• My new novel, The Last-Minute Queen, is just zooming along!  I've finished chapter 6 already!  The writing is going faster than the typing, but the chapters should start appearing Really Soon Now.

Note:  Before 2004 I wasn't keeping a "What's New" file.  Everything in the four years before that is dated in the comments in the text, for stories and my novel The Reborn Princess Caper, or in the date at the bottom of the poems, but not recorded here.
